GODDESS ISIS is now in my studio. I find myself living in a very different and magically wonderful space since my time painting her in Painting From the Source. I am connected to nature much more deeply and am now experiencing conversations with trees who are giving me messages.
I am also being directed to nature spots that I have lived near to but never been fully aware of that connect me to what feels like a primal creative energy source. Animals and birds now seem nonplussed in my presence and I am aware of seeing leaves and trees in a completely different way as if I can see the energy source running through and around them.

A FEW TRUE EXAMPLES OF SOURCE AT WORK
An earth-rooted green man in Tom’s painting firmly directs him to quit his corporate job in a fast food company and work with youth at risk. In tears, Tom and the witnessing group, are awe struck.
Margaret dances and sounds her mystical painting with abandon in a weekend retreat full of wooded nature, ritual and minimal social conversation. She returns to Washington DC re-inspired with creative techniques for her work counseling/supporting the cabinet members in a former presidential administration.
Robert, a retired Air Force Pilot allows an image relating to his childhood molestation by a priest to emerge. Comforted in the arms of a Catholic nun who “happens “ to be in the group, a healing for him and the group take place.
Elaine, dealing with a recent abortion “coincidently” paints near a man still bitter by his former wife’s abortion 30 yeas ago…. Powerful paintings emerge with resolution for all.
Hanna, an older woman with a German accent timidly enters the studio for the final share clutching papers tied together by yarn. She shows the illustrated book she has made as she wandered in the desert for a week while we painted indoors. For the first time she tells of being the only child found alive on the bottom of a heap of murdered hungry Jewish children lured by a loaf of bread and shot by German solders…. A stunning healing of decades of claustrophobia, revelatory for all.
Twenty Directors of various International Associations kick off their shoes, take off their ties and jackets, and watch me light a candle while I ask the Divine Source of Creativity to bless us with what we most need. These unlikely professionals play with crayons and scribble words with their non-dominant hand for a two hour creative seminar in McCormick Place Conference Center in Chicago. They curiously signed up to tap into the alternate dream state, facilitated by a self professed Art Medicine Woman and using intuitive creativity, discover solutions for work projects or personal dilemmas. Their feed back and evaluations are unanimously glowing, … They are refreshed, informed, their lives re-enchanted… like so many in the mainstream, they are hungry for more. I am invited back to their annual conference many times.
In a Harlem Drug Rehab, Back and Hispanic teens urgently express with paint and dance the raw honesty of their plight. They spontaneously make up songs, raps. They come alive, … are empowered.
Re-Enchantment and hope offer a doorway to transformation.
Jeff G., retired middle school teacher and painter, wrote after Paint & Ecstatic Dance Workshop, “How can one put into words what does not lend itself to words? It went beyond concepts, beyond thinking… to the wordless heart of being.”
Although not everyone may have such dramatic experiences, the tens of thousands of participants from around the world these past 35 years who have attended “Painting From the Source” retreats , unquestionably experience powerful heart opening epiphanies plus healings of body, mind and spirit. All this as well as inspired empowerment for life changing decisions contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable world. They also take home stunning paintings imbued with Source to inspire others.
Please contribute to the continuation of this powerful work in the world.
