Entrepreneur and Marketing strategist Montine Blank has 15 years experience both consulting to established companies as well as concepting and developing start-ups. With a B.A. in Organizational Development, Master in International Business, a healthy career with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), and experienced Workshop Leader for Ladies Who Launch, Montine is well-qualified to help guide growing businesses. Most recently Montine launched The Green Half, a thriving on-line business with 10,000 subscribers and thousands of customers who frequent the site to purchase discount gift cards to sustainable businesses while supporting local non-profits. The business was originally linked to GreenPlate, Inc., a non-profit organization Montine co-launched aimed at the reduction of disposable plastics consumption.
In the last decade, she concepted and created three one-of-a-kind art businesses, CraZy MoOn ArT RoOM, T-Shirt Construction Co. and Paint Your Guts Out – each applauded in the press for value and ingenuity. Additionally, she has over 8 years experience in strategic communications and training for large corporations. From international satellite training and communications projects to fledgling retail shops, Montine enjoys the challenges and rewards of launching success.
Entrepreneurship
In addition to GreenPlate, Laptop Launchers and The Green Half, Blank envisioned and executed “art as entertainment” retail/studio T-Shirt Construction Co. for custom printing. The resulting business was rated 2006 Critic’s Pick for best in New Art Trends by the Creative Loafing and voted top 100 “IT” List by Sunday Paper. Since 1999, she has maintained a uniquely therapeutic art studio called Paint Your Guts Out! (paintyourgutsout.com) where she and others facilitate expressive art classes, workshops and parties for adults and children.
Strategic Communications Experience
Montine develops consistent, credible messages with senior-level executives for use in various communications mediums and has successfully managed strategic & tactical responsibility for large-scale events.She has designed, developed, and managed communications programs resulting in achievement of specific, measurable behavior goals aligned with the corporate strategic intent. She fuses communications objectives with behavior change theories, strategy and technology to guide interactions across levels of an organization, thereby creating trust, ownership and commitment. One of her team’s strategic communications programs was awarded the IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) Global Golden Quill award for excellence and innovation in internal communications programs.
Executive Distance Training
Blank has designed and produced distance learning program to outfit senior executives at Andersen Consulting with the latest in how to market and sell eCommerce solutions to clients. The workshop employees various interactive technologies to engage participants including intranet chatrooms, satellite technology, voting, web browsing, and immediate-response polling. Feedback from more than 90% of participants rates the “overall quality of the workshop” the highest of any previous workshop at Andersen Consulting.
Change Management Consulting Experience
Three years experience with telecommunications and technology resellers, Blank has applied Change Management methods including training design and development, performance management, organization design, and change navigation to move employee groups swiftly through comprehensive change programs.
