Mego Johnson, co-founder of Creative Passage, says, “My life is an adventure of free play and joyful work to realize my own creative potential in service to the sacred web of life.”  She is also a co-founder of Southside Park Cohousing, owner of No Accidents, No Mistakes Painting Adventures and co-owner of Blue Crow Studio, located in Sacramento, CA.

She is currently Director of Operations for Sacramento–Yolo Mutual Housing Association.  Before joining Mutual Housing in September 2006, Mego spent 13 years in administration of two environmental nonprofits; the Planning and Conservation League for two years and Friends of the River for 11 years.  She also had an eight year tenure as an administrative analyst with the City of Sacramento.

Mego proudly served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kenya from 1982-1984, and as whitewater raft guide with Friends of the River 1993-2007.  Current volunteer activities include:  Board Member, Environmental Council of Sacramento (ECOS), and Member, Smart Growth Leadership Recognition Program.  She holds a B.A. in English and a paralegal certificate from California State University, Chico and has completed studies to obtain an M.S. in Community Development from UC Davis.  She earned her Painting From the Source® Instructor Certification in 2002.
